YesImGoingToBlogAboutThis.com began as a collection of stories about dating in 2011 when Havilah (our writer and the butt of most of our jokes) re-entered the dating world after a 3+ year dry spell known to Facebook users as "In a relationship".
While our subject matter has broadened to be a bit closer to all-encompassing, our focus remains on the woes of men and women in their eternal quest for love. Yes. Love.
The aim of YIGTBAT is to give honest (if completely biased) opinions on myriad topics in order to promote discussion, instigate arguments, intrigue and impress our loyal readership, make our parents think we're doing something and simultaneously disappoint them by what it is we're doing.

About Havilah
Havilah (our head writer) has been blogging forever. Before there was a thing called "blog", she was doing it. She hails from Indiana but now lives and dates in NYC. Havilah is the self-proclaimed unrivaled expert on everything that matters. We consider her a bit of a dating/relationship pro, but we cannot confirm any other claims. She is completely clueless about most things, so take what she says with a grain of oh-hell-no-that-cannot-be-right.
