I loathe the term "husband shopping". Particularly when used by men to describe women who are, most likely, just interested in having an actual relationship with with someone. There are so so so very many ways that have been (and continue to be) devised over the generations to make women look and feel "crazy" for wanting/needing/saying/expressing things that are perfectly fucking natural and sane. This is one of those things. If I'm dating with the hope of finding an LTR (long term relationship) then suddenly I'm labeled a "husband shopper". Who fucking said I wanted to get married??? I'd like to find someone good enough to invest some time in, so I'm "husband shopping" now. I may start actively flipping this psychology. If I meet a dude who says, "I'm not interested in anything serious then he is, instantly, "Commitmentphobic".
Further to my point on this matter, Readers, it's okay for ladies to express their honest feelings in a rational and calm manner. Just because the subject of their feelings makes you feel crazy is no excuse for you to instantly label them as "crazy". For example, when a woman says, "You know, I'm starting to realize I have some romantic feelings for you," that's not your opportunity to tell your buddies, "Yeah, she went totally crazy on me!" That's her being honest, you're reaction is your ass being crazy. We (ladies) have heard for so fucking long that being honest about our feelings makes us seem crazy. So much so we try with every fiber of our beings to internalize and push down these emotions until we are fucking crazy.
When you meet a lady who is interested in more than just a fuck, she is not automatically "husband shopping". She's just not a total fucking slut for brains. When a woman tells you she has feelings for you or that she misses you or whatever, she's not crazy. She is being open and honest and because of society spending generations telling her to not be open and/or honest with men, this is probably really challenging for her and she should actually be fucking applauded for her act of valor and bravery in a war zone. BRONZE FUCKING STAR THAT BITCH! Stand at fucking attention, you lunatic of a man-whore.
